Using This Website
The information on this website is provided in good faith as a general description of our services. We work to keep it accurate and up to date, but it may change without notice and it is not a binding offer. Availability, prices and conditions are confirmed only in a quote or booking confirmation from us.
You agree to use the website lawfully and not to misuse it, for example by sending false or misleading information, sending spam, trying to disrupt or gain unauthorised access to the website or our systems, or using automated tools to submit forms.
Enquiries, Quotes and Bookings
- Sending a form or message to us is a request for information or a quote. It is not a booking and does not create a binding agreement.
- An agreement is formed only when SwifTrans confirms the booking or engagement to you in writing (for example by email) or you and we otherwise clearly agree it.
- A quote is based on the information you give us. If the information is incomplete or changes (for example addresses, dates, volume, weight or scope), we may adjust the quote.
- Price, payment terms, cancellation and change conditions, and any special terms for a job are stated in the quote or booking confirmation.
- Business consultancy work is agreed individually in writing, setting out scope, fees and timing before work starts.
Your Responsibilities
You are responsible for giving us correct and complete information, for being available at the agreed time and place, and for making sure that any goods you ask us to carry are legal to transport and accurately described. Tell us in advance about anything that could affect the job, such as restricted access, fragile or valuable items, or hazardous materials. We may refuse or stop a job that is unsafe, unlawful or not as described.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any liability that cannot be limited or excluded under mandatory law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for intent or gross negligence, and your statutory rights as a consumer.
Subject to that, SwifTrans is responsible for loss or damage that it causes through its own fault in carrying out an agreed service, in accordance with the booking confirmation and applicable Swedish and EU law, including the rules that apply to the carriage of goods and passengers. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, such as lost profit, or for delays and failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as severe weather, road closures, accidents, strikes or official orders.
The website is provided “as is”. We do not guarantee that it will always be available or free from errors, and we are not liable for loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, the website, except where the law does not allow us to exclude it.
Intellectual Property
The content of this website, including text, design, logo and graphics, belongs to SwifTrans AB or is used with permission, and is protected by copyright and other laws. You may view the website and print or save pages for your own use, but you may not copy, republish or use our content or logo for other purposes without our written permission. Privacy and Cookies
How we handle personal information is described in our Privacy Policy. This website does not use cookies; see the Cookies page.
Governing Law and Disputes
These terms and any agreement between you and SwifTrans are governed by Swedish law. Disputes will be settled by the Swedish courts. If you are a consumer, you keep the mandatory consumer rights that apply in the country where you live, and you may also bring a dispute to the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes (Allmänna reklamationsnämnden, ARN) at www.arn.se.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page, with the date shown below, applies from the date it is published. An agreement you have already made with us is governed by the terms that applied when it was confirmed.
